New York Photo Diary: Day 6, March 30th

17 Apr

Day 6 of our trip was relatively more relaxed with a stroll around the Meatpacking District (♥ all the shops there!), drinks at Standard Hotel’s Biergarten, followed by a leisurely walk along The High Line, a public park built on a 1.45 mile-long elevated historic freight rail structure running from Gansevoort Street to West 34th Street on Manhattan’s West Side. From there we rushed to the other part of town at New World Stages, a multi-theater complex in the heart of the theatre distict, to watch Rent. After the show, we enjoyed a few cocktails at Hospoda, a Czech restaurant/micro-brewery in the Upper East Side, then called it a night.
