A recently acquired vintage Prada tweed skirt. At first I was hesitant to purchase it in a size 40 (equivalent to US 5/6), but I’m glad I did. It’s always easier to take in, than take out.
After a workshop Camille and I attended at FIDM last weekend, we passed by their museum and thoroughly enjoyed the exhibit on motion picture costume design. Photography was not allowed though 😦 On display were beautiful & intricate costumes from 2010 films such as The King’s Speech, True Grit, Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky, The Young Victoria, Alice in Wonderland, Burlesque, The Last Airbender, The Chronicles of Narnia, Prince of Persia, Robin Hood, Inception, Shutter Island, etc. This exhibition is free to the public and will be open until April 30th ( Tue–Sat 10am-4pm).
This was what welcomed me at the Lexus service lounge. Ugh. Thank God I have the power to say NO.
I love that there’s still snow in the mountains where I live. I can’t wait to drive up to Big Bear next weekend when my sis & bro-in-law come visit!
